How did you prepare for your first interview session as an interviewer?

I prepped my first interview session by reading up a lot on the candidates resume, as well as googling and learning from previous experience as an interviewee, as to how to ask relevant and important questions to judge and determine if the candidate is a good fit to the company or not.

What do you look for when interviewing candidates?

I look for candidates that are confident. And has prepped well for the interview. I feel that these things make a difference. On top of that, someone that dresses well definitely has a plus point too.

Prepped well in terms of getting ready for questions asked. Learn abit about the role you’re signing up for, as well as the company. Be confident, and try to always maintain eye contact.

Always be in a listening mode, and try not to interrupt the interviewee as much as you can. Learn to read not just the content shared, but the body language and the tone too.

By being confident and knowing when to speak, and when to just sit back and listen.
