Part 3: My First Work Trip @justispao

Meet James Rainier, also known as @justispao on Instagram. Here he shares with us his first experiences with Arbutus and how Arbutus Classic Skeleton AR904SBB is an ideal choice for his first mechanical watch.

Where do you work? And what is your job here?

I work in a media publishing company as a video producer where I manage, film, edit and host in various videos we publish. Basically, a One-Man Production Crew. I also get to travel a lot which has also honed all my skills.

Can you share more about the process of getting this job?

Coming from a chemical engineering background, I took the leap of faith to dip my toes in media by going on an internship.

Can you share more about your First Work Trip?

My first work trip was to Sabah, where I filmed for GoPro while Scuba Diving in 2018 with my colleague. We went to the world's only Oil Rig Dive Spot and I was to capture underwear shots that showcased the capability of the GoPro.

Did anything interesting happen during the trip?

I got to jump off a 15m platform into the ocean!

How do you prepare for your first work trip?

I'm actually pretty #YOLO so other than camera gear for the project, I just packed 2 sets of t-shirts, shorts and boxers and just used my credit card.

Things to do in Sabah?

Even though there are unlimited reef dives provided on the oil rig, book yourself a dive trip to Sipadan because it is one of the clearest waters in the world!

What do you like the most about your job or company?

It is basically my dream job. I get to travel, shoot videos, host, sing, act and many other things which I won't be able to find in a single company. Also, the friends I've made are great :)
